I've been down the road with KVM switches more times than I care to remember. There was always something that didn't work right. ATEN's CS1644 is the first one that I've had that really does the job. I've set up 3 Macs (an old G4, a more recent G5 and a brand new 12-Core Mac Pro) with 2 monitors (30" and 23" Apple Cinema Displays). Everything looks exactly the way it's supposed to. I use Logitech G19 and G13 "Game Controllers" as keyboards and a Logitech MX Revolution Mouse. I do not use them for gaming, rather for their extra function keys and extra mouse buttons.
